My brother brought me his six year old son to raise because he and his wife is going to a divorce and live in NC. I live in Maryland. He has a lot of problem. Some due to the behavior of his parents. My nephew problem will scream at the teacher, wonder off during lesson, be destructive in the cloak room, and hit other students if he think they are making fun of him. But, one of his problem is that he does have a speech problem and it is hard to understand him. This bring about frustration. Beside emulating his parents, I found that he loves to watch the cartoons where they scream and save the world by fighting. "The power puff girls" are bad news. Older children in the home could prove a problem as well, if there are any. He will do what he sees them doing. By monitoring his t.v. activities, taking him to church, and my husband has spanked him twice in three months, and watching his after school play friends as curb these problems a lot. He is not out of the woods yet, but has improved some. We have another meeting in March. It seem as if it will be better than the first one problems a lot.
