Making Collaboration Work for Children, Youth, Families, Schools and Communities Videotapes are now available from CEC from the National Invitational Conference on Children with Serious Emotional Disturbance and Their Families

This National Invitational Conference which took place on March 27-29, 1996, was organized by the Chesapeake Institute of the American Institutes for Research for the U.S. Departments of Education, Health and Human Services, and Justice.

The 54-minute Town Meeting tape includes a keynote address from U.S. Department of Education Secretary Richard Riley. Reflections of life experiences by 12 diverse young people who made it through the system are a moving highlight of this tape. #M5223, $30.

The 90-minute Video Conference tape opens with an address by Judith Heumann, Assistant Secretary of Education in the U.S. Department of Educaiton, and features presentations from four exemplary programs. Actual classroom scenes from each program are included. The success of each approach is clearly demonstrated. #M5224, $30.
