E-MAIL RESOURCES
The Center has also collected information
on other listservs run by other organizations that may be of interest to you.
Instructions for how to join each listserv follow each entry. If you know of any listservs
that you feel should be included in our collection, please send an E-mail about it to us. Additionally, please let us know if
you have problems subscribing or unsubscribing to any of these lists. Although we may not
be able to help, we would like to know which lists pose problems for people.
ABOUT LISTSERVS:
Most listserv groups are managed by a machine. In order to
join a list, you have to send the machine an e-mail with a command to put you on the list
(subscribe). The address and subscription commands are included under each list. It is
recommended that if you use an automatic signature on your e-mail that you type END
on the next line after the command, so the computer doesn't get confused by extra text.
For example, to subscribe to the BEHAVIORAL AND EMOTIONAL DISORDERS IN CHILDREN list, you
would send an e-mail to listserv@asuvm.inre.asu.edu. The message would
read
subscribe Behavior
END
You will get a welcome message with information about the
list, including how to send mail to the group, and how to take yourself off it in the
future (unsubscribe). Please keep in mind that the Center has provided these lists as
a suggestion, and is not responsible for the content of the discussion on any of the
groups.
