Fiesta Educativa (National) National Fiesta Educativa is an all volunteer movement dedicated to advance the quality of life of Latino families with sons and daughters with disabilities through organizing, education and training, and to assure that the service delivery system is responsive to the needs of this multi-racial and multi-lingual population. National Fiesta Educativa is formed by Latino families, persons with disabilities and the professionals who serve them. Member states are encouraged to develop State plans to meet family needs in their corresponding states. Founded in California in 1978, Fiesta Educativa is the oldest Latino grassroots movement of its kind in the nation. |
