National Association of State Boards of Education NASBE is a nonprofit, private organization that represents state and territorial boards of education. Our principal objectives include strengthening state leadership in educational policymaking, promoting excellence in education for ALL students, advocating for equality of access to educational opportunity, and ensuring continued citizen support for public education. NASBE serves over 600 individuals, including members of state boards, state board attorneys, and state board executives. These members are responsible for the educational interests of more than 40 million students in public schools and more than 3 million students in post-secondary institutions. |
