ZERO TO THREE: National Center for Infants, Toddlers,
and Families ZERO TO THREE provides a number of resources for professionals, families, program developers, researchers, and policy makers who are working to promote the healthy social and emotional development of children from birth to three and their families, and to promote better understanding and treatment of emotional and developmental disorders in infants and young children. Field based initiatives include training and technical assistance to infant/toddler child care programs, early intervention and family support initiatives, and Early Head Start. Leading publications in this area include ZERO TO THREE's Diagnostic Classification of Mental Health and Developmental Disorders of Infancy and Early Childhood, published in 1994, New Visions for the Developmental Assessment of Infants and Young Children, published in 1996, and the DC:0-3 Casebook, published in 1997. ZERO TO THREE's annual National Training Institute and bi-monthly bulletin, Zero to Three, regularly feature new research and practice findings concerning infant mental health. |
