Laurie J. Albright, M.A. 

Laurie Albright is the Program Coordinator for one of two Early Intervention Centers, operated by the Positive Education Program. Ms. Albright began her career at PEP as an intern school psychologist, held a variety of positions in the school age program (staff school psychologist, liaison school psychologist, etc), until 1980 when she assumed her current position. During this time, the program has grown from a morning-only program to one which also has evening/Saturday and full day components. Ms. Albright combines her administrative and clinical backgrounds, for example, in co-facilitating the optional short term women's therapy groups. Ms. Albright is a licensed school psychologist and a licensed professional clinical counselor. She holds certificates as a school psychologist, supervisor, early education of the handicapped, specific learning disabilities, and severe behavior handicapped. She also completed the three year post graduate program at the Gestalt Institute of Cleveland.

Ms. Albright has been active in numerous professional organizations, serving on committees and as Past President of the Cleveland Association of School Psychologists, and the Ohio School Psychologists Association. She is a founding board member of the Ohio Association of Masters in School Psychology. She has done numerous presentations at local, state, and national conferences on services at PEP's EIC's, and local and state presentations on various topics, including managing young children with behavioral problems.
