The American Psychological Association (APA) is a scientific and professional organization that represents psychology in the United States. With more than 155,000 members, APA is the largest association of psychologists worldwide.

APA is a recognized resource of information and products for the psychological community of professionals (practitioners, educators, scientists, and other mental health professionals), the public (adults and children, congress, federal agencies, media, etc), and to students (career planning and education programs).
