National Information Center for Children and Youth with Disabilities

Description

Contact

NICHCY is an information and referral center that provides information on disabilities and disability-related issues. Children and youth with disabilities (birth to age 22) are our special focus. We can answer your disability questions in English and in Spanish, share our publications, put you in contact with resources nationally and in your state, and help you address your unique concerns.

Resources

At NICHCY, you can also identify national organizations that can help you with your disability-related questions. Search our organizations database at: www.nichcy.org/database/orgsrch.htm. To find state level groups, take a look at our state sheets: www.nichcy.org/states.htm. Or call us at 1.800.695.0285 (or email us at nichcy@aed.org) and let us know what you're looking for, and we'll try to put you in contact with groups that can assist you in addressing your concerns.
