Guide for Preventing School Violence - Kevin Dwyer, Principal Investigator for the Early Warning Signs Guide, is our online expert discussing this new resource from the CECP and the National Association of School Psychologists. 
Prospector Reports - John VanDenBerg, of the Center's "Prospector" Team, has identified several promising programs and practices.

Proposed Regulations for IDEA - The U.S. Department of Education has released proposed rules for implementing the 1997 Amendments to the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act. Instructions for accessing the draft regulations are included.
Behavioral Management Techniques - The Council for Exceptional Children's Fall 1997 Issue of Research Connections in Special Education focuses on school-wide systems of behavioral management, and includes models, advice from the field, state initiatives, and contacts and resources.
Disciplinary Guidelines - U.S. Department of Education's "Initial Disciplinary Guidance Related to Removal of Children with Disabilities from their Current Educational Placement for Ten School Days or Less."
